Have you noticed that people don’t really talk about blogging anymore, but newsletters keep getting mentioned more and more? It’s because readers want a more personal approach to blogging. We now publish a newsletter that provides just as much information and even more interaction. You can also subscribe and read newsletters delivered to your email, and join chats to talk to newsletter writers and the community. I wish I had this along with my blog in the past.

Music, fashion and culture journalist robin mowat has been in the game for a while and knows that sometimes you need to share stories that don’t get talked about on your terms. Mowat has inspired Black women in her field over the years by speaking on her panels, teaching, and always sharing resources and opportunities. Her Substack Her Newsletter is just an extension of that. I wish there was something like Black Nuance when I was growing up. That’s the big sister everyone wants.
